Popular celebrity, Yeni Kuti has come out to share a clip of King’s College boys bullying fellow students. She recently shared the video on her social media page, and Nigerians have been reacting.
According to her, the video was actually captured by a student of the school who complains that he’s a victim of bullying, and she cannot understand why the act is normal.
Yeni then called on school authorities to do something about bullies in Nigerian schools.
Her words, “A young boy I know attends King’s college and complains of being bullied. He sent this video he recorded to his ward, of young boys being bullied. I know a young lady who works with me and surprise surprise she says it’s normal. I am in acute SHOCK! NORMAL???”
“How can beating young kids be normal. What if they are injured? I beg o please tell me am I too old? Is this normal. Shouldn’t something be done about this before a child gets seriously injured? I was never a boarder so I don’t think I can ever understand beating people’s children like this.”
