Chelsea midfielder, Mason Mount has come out to say that the club is gunning for the EPL title this season.
The Blues are currently 2 points off the top spot after their recent 5 games winning streak in the EPL.
According to him, his team wants to achieve glory this season in the league and the players will not be settling for just a short good spell domestically and in Europe.
He added that Chelsea players know they can achieve great things this term because they are all talented players.
His words, “It’s always been our goal [to win the title],”
“We know what we can achieve, and we know the level of the players in this group.
“We can never be content with being top of the group in the Champions League and going to the top of the league and being around it; we can never be content with that. We know what we can do and our goal is always to be No 1 and push for titles. We know we can do that.
“The most important thing at the moment is to try to keep the momentum going. Go from game to game and try to go into each one with the mentality of winning it. When you keep that going, you go into every game wanting to win.
“We are in a good place at the moment but we can’t get carried away. It is exciting times, but we’re so ready to keep working hard.”
