After the recent rise in terrorism across Nigeria, Nigeria Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, NSCIA, has begged Muhammadu Buhari to declare State of Emergency on security.
NSCIA, under the leadership of Sultan of Sokoto, Sa’ad Abubakar III, disclosed this at a World Press Conference in Abuja on Wednesday.
The group lamented the rise in killings and bloodshed in the land, calling them appalling and horrible.
NSCIA then blasted religious leaders who partook in a prayer walk against terror recently, saying the move was only a childish blame game and it oozed hypocrisy.
The group added that less Christians have actually suffered in the hands of the terrorists than Muslims.
