The Austin, Texas-born beauty had her wavy black mane down and parted, with an extraordinary makeup job as she posed for photographers at the glitzy gathering.
The 1, 2 Step singer wore a long-sleeved black python belted dress by Alexandre Vauthier, rounding out her ensemble with matching knee-high heeled boots.
The garment had a split in the leg area, allowing the Love Sex Magic singer to display her shapely gams – toned by rigorous workouts with her good friend, tennis standout Serena Williams – as she strut down the red carpet.
It’s been a busy month for the mom-of-two, to three-year-old son, Future Zahir from her previous relationship with rapper Future; and six-month-old daughter Sienna Princess with her husband, Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, 28.
The Goodies songstress was among those in attendance in New Orleans this week at Serena’s fairy-tale wedding to Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian Thursday, one of 200 guests at the ultra-exclusive event. Other starry names dotting the guest list included Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland and Eva Longoria.
Ciara has has some success in the past at the American Music Awards, as she’s been nominated twice in the category for Favorite Soul/R&B Female Artist: Once in 2005, and eight years later, in 2013.
Her premiere Hollywood honor came in 2006, when she won the Grammy for Best Short-Form Music Video for her dance anthem Lose Control.
On Sunday, Bruno Mars led the nominations with eight, followed by Ed Sheeran, Drake, Kendrick Lamar, The Chainsmokers and The Weeknd, who each have five nominations.
