Members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) under the Concerned APC Members (CAM) have expressed dissatisfaction with the alleged suspension of Abdullahi Ganduje, the national chairman of the party.
Ganduje was reportedly suspended by the APC in his ward in the Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area of Kano State on Monday. However, the state leadership of the party denied the suspension, labeling those behind it as impostors.
CAM, led by Okpokwu Ogenyi, addressed the issue at a press conference in Abuja on Tuesday, calling for the immediate arrest of those responsible for the alleged suspension.

Ogenyi emphasized the need for the perpetrators to be brought to justice to serve as a deterrent to others.
He stated, “It is with rude shock that we received the news of the suspension of the APC National Chairman of our party, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, by some members of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) who disguised themselves as members of our party from his ward in Kano State.”
“The impostors even went as far as using the name of our party’s legal adviser in Ganduje ward to announce the purported suspension of our National chairman without the prior consent of the said legal adviser, even though a legal adviser lacks the powers to suspend officers of the party, as such powers are vested in the ward chairman.”
Ogenyi highlighted that impersonation is a criminal offense punishable by law and called on the Inspector General of Police and the Director General of the State Security Service to arrest the impostors and prosecute them.
He warned that failure to do so could lead to similar actions against other party members, including the President, by individuals from opposing parties.
