Aregbesola femi adeshina receptionThe Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina has alleged that corrupt people are wishing that President Buhari should die.

Adesina said they are daring God, adding that Buhari’sold age has nothing to do with his ability to lead.

According to Daily Post, the President’s spokesman said the government needs more partners in the fight against corruption.

He said “On whether age is a problem to the President, there is nobody age does not catch up with, and it is an inexorable fact of life.

“But whoever would grow old must respect hoary hairs. When you disparage old people, you are actually disparaging God, who has created different seasons of life.”

“I agree that Nigerians should take over the anti – corruption war, because that is the real intention.

“They should own the war, and see it as their own, not because government has failed, but because government needs them as allies.

“A war that would transcend the lifetime of a government is the one that has been imbibed and accepted by the people.

“It is not a one – man show, and President Buhari would be very happy to see people take over the anti – corruption crusade.

“It is a baton he would love to see handed from generation to generation,” added.

Why are those around PMB so averse to the truth and reality? I agree that the fight against corruption should be our war. But is it the present type of fight that Adesina wants us to join – a fight so lopsided that a toldler knows it is a sort of vendatta with double standard? Is it this crucked baton we have to pass on from generation to generation. And the pictures they continue to show us that PMB is alive are laughable. They say the last one is a selfie. Do they know what a selfie is? Both hands of the subjects are visible. Who took the picture and when, is a self-timer used? If our President is undergoing a check up is a hospital, Nigerians will be convinced of his being alive with such pictures than all the make-believe we are being fed with and we will be able to pray more sincerely and with faith for his recovery. Why do we choose to embark on a hide and seek game and start to shower curses on those who a genuinely expressing their doubts? This is our president we are talking about, not Adesina’s president, not APC’s president, not Northern Nigerian president.
