Chelsea duo Diego Costa and Oscar have made up after they clash and fought each other in training on Thursday, January 7.
The duo had to be pulled apart from by teammates following a challenge from behind by Oscar.
Speaking about the clash, Chelsea interim coach Guus Hiddink said the two players attacked each other ‘like two bulls’.
“It was a pity that our photographer yesterday had a day off because he would have had some wonderful pictures of the two bulls after the charge from behind by the smaller bull Oscar,” Hiddink said.
“He took a charge from behind and it was overdone and especially when you know it is Oscar – he got Diego and of course they scrambled and stood up which is a normal reaction and then chested a bit without the threat of punching.
“It was the two bulls – I don’t like when they hit but with the intensity of the training session, we had a very sharp training session and it was on the edge.”
Hiddink revealed that the players settled their differences after Oscar apologised.
Following reports of the fight, Oscar took to Twitter to deny the incident.
“For those who are talking to me and @diegocosta struggle today in training he’s lying, he’s one of my best friends and never fight.”
