The Federal Ministry of Health has kicked against the use of shared items in places of worship. The ministry stated that the sharing of items such as Bibles, hymnals, and microphones should be avoided to curtail the spread of the virus.
According to the ministry, the sharing of such items, can trigger the wide spread of the virus, people should therefore limit the sharing of items in places of worship and adhere to all non-pharmaceutical measures in curbing the spread of the virus.
The Federal Ministry of Health, noted that coronavirus can be curbed if we all adhere to all public advisory on COVID-19 prevention i.e wearing of facemask, regular handwashing and social distancing.
The ministry thus advised against stigmatization of COVID-19 survivors. According to the ministry, cooperation is needed to overcome the pandemic. This is can be done by showing support to healthcare providers.
