COVID-19 in Nigeria: 197 New Cases, 55,829 Total Cases and 1075 Total Deaths as of 10th September 2020

One Hundred and Ninety-Seven (197) new cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic were confirmed and reported in Nigeria within the last 24 hours. This was contained in the COVID-19 update provided by Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).

The new cases reported are as follows:

Plateau: 83
Lagos: 48
Kaduna: 17
FCT Abuja: 16
Ogun: 11
Katsina: 7
Imo: 4
Edo: 3
Nasarawa: 3
Rivers: 2
Bayelsa: 1
Oyo: 1
Osun: 1

Currently, there are 55,829 confirmed cases in Nigeria with 1075 deaths. However, 43,810 people have so far recovered and been discharged.
