Agunbiade Daniel Damilola a.k.a Danagog is a long-serving member of Davido‘s team.
With the friendship between him and Davido over 10 years old, he got signed to HKN in 2012 and he’s the only act that transitioned from the HKN label to Davido’s new DMW label.
In this exclusive chat with Thenetng, Danagog explains how his path crossed with Davido.
In his words, ‘I met David Adeleke before I met Davido (laughs). I remember I was independent for a while, at that time I stayed in Ogba and at a point I decided to relocate to the United States and three weeks into my stay in US I met David at the mall and he told me that’s not a good idea.’
‘He suggested we move back to Nigeria and try music one more time, I believed him and 10 years after we are still here,’ he said.
