Southampton midfielder, James Ward-Prowse has come out to say that he wants to break David Beckham’s record of 18 free-kick goals. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.

According to him, breaking the record is part of his many football dreams, especially if it means he might get to meet Beckham, who is his childhood hero.
James added that he absolutely loved the ex-Manchester United player when he was growing up, and he would want to hang out with him.
His words, “My main motivation is to meet my hero who I loved when I was growing up.”
“If I do get that record, hopefully he’ll reach out – but there’s a long way to go just yet.”
“I love practising free kicks. Once I score one, I just want to score another.”
