Ahead of the 2016/17 Premier League season, Manchester United legend David Beckham is starring in an advert by Sky Sports.
Beckham who won six Premier League titles with Manchester United stars in the advert which broadcasters Sky are using to build the excitement ahead of this season.
In the 60-seconds clip released by Sky Sports, the fitness enthusiast is seen coming across footages of Premier League games as he goes for a run.
He runs into a group of Manchester United fans in a pub watching a game as one of them lifts him up to celebrate a goal.
In another scene, Beckham runs along with some kids with one of them donning the shirt of current Premier League champions, Leicester City.
He sees another Manchester United goal against rivals City from the transparent window before running past the Emirate Stadium through a throng of Arsenal fans.
The advert is set to be screened on television for the first time on Friday, July 22.
According to Sky, the “new clip ‘celebrates the unpredictability of the Premier League’ and after Leicester City’s shock title victory last time around, this season promises more thrills and spills.”
“Anything can happen in the Premier League and this ad by Sky is a really fun way of showing that,” Beckham said.
“Filming the ad was great and the finished piece is a really clever way of showing that you never know what might happen in football.”
The 2016/17 Premier League season kicks off on Saturday, August 13.
