Fans of HKN Music leader, Davido can finally have a listen to his first body of work since his debut album, Omo Baba Olowo was released in 2012.
The long-awaited follow up to the singer’s debut album now has a September 2016 release date and is set to be Davido’s first release under Sony Music Entertainment.
An excited Davido shared the news on his Snapchat today, July 29, writing about the yet-to-be-titled project: ‘I’m happy I waited, I’m about to turn up,’ he shared. ‘Happiest day of my life, finally got my date of release. September about to be a movie, best music and videos I ever made in my life.’
Sony Music will be handling the publishing and distribution of Davido’s works while its subsidiary, RCA Records will be in charge of his projects in the United States.
