The leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State has officially congratulated Senator Ned Nwoko, representing the Delta North constituency, on his decision to join the party.
In a statement, the party described Nwoko’s defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as a significant development in the state’s political landscape.
“We are confident that his wealth of experience, leadership qualities, and commitment to the development of our state will be transformative,” the APC stated.

Delta APC Chairman, Elder Omeni Sobotie, in a goodwill message, praised Nwoko as a respected political leader, philanthropist, and businessman who has consistently demonstrated a strong dedication to the welfare of Delta State’s people.
“His decision to align with the APC signals a strategic step towards bringing about positive change and good governance for the people of Delta,” Sobotie affirmed.
He further noted that Nwoko’s presence in the party would serve as a catalyst for much-needed reforms and progress, emphasizing that his influence and extensive network would strengthen APC’s position in the state.
“His track record of championing the interests of his people, coupled with his passion for sustainable development, makes him a valuable addition to our party.
The entire APC family welcomes him with open arms and looks forward to working together to foster greater unity, development, and prosperity for Delta State,” Sobotie added.
