    Delta Assembly Receives Commissionership List

    Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan of Delta State has forwarded the names of 10 commissioners’ nominees to the Delta State House of Assembly (DTHA) for screening and confirmation for appointments as commissioners and members of the Delta State Executive Council.

    Also forwarded to the State legislature are names of eight nominees for appointment as Chairmen and members of Local Government Service Commission and Delta State Universal Basic  Education Board.

    The lists of nominees forwarded to the House by the governor and read on the floor of the House by the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Peter Onwusanya, include:

    3. Solomon Ighrakpata
    4. Joel Bisina
    5. Pastor Powell Ojogho
    6. David Anuku
    7. Barr. David Peter Ekerekosu
    8. Dr. Chris Ekiyor
    9. Omolubi Newumi
    10. Austin Ayemidejor

    The Speaker, Hon. Onwusanya, however, requested the aforementioned nominees to submit their curriculum vitae (CV) to the Clerk of the House and to appear before the House for screening and possible confirmation.
