…Ladi Adebutu is an Omoluabi – Seye Sonuga
Thousands of residents of Eleja/Alagbayun, Alaafia/Kobape, Oyesiku, Surulere and Ayegbami in Ogun Central on Wednesday, April 18, 2018, gathered at Paramount FM and Rock City FM, Abeokuta, to receive five (5) 500KVA transformers donated by Hon (Dr) Ladi Adebutu, Chairman, House Committee on Rural Development.
The delivery of the transformers was in fulfillment of the pledge Hon Adebutu made to them during phone in interactive session programs “Ojumo Ire” Paramount FM and “Daybreak Show” Rock City FM on April 4, 2018.
The callers who called in requested Hon Ladi’s intervention as they lamented the unfortunate neglect of their communities by the APC led government. They claimed that the areas had experienced darkness for a very long period which had made the economy of the affected communites to remain in the lowest ebb.
However, the quick response of the leading 2019 governorship aspirant to alleviate their suffering, the Baales of the communities and Chairmen of the Community Development Associations in turns expressed deep appreciation to the federal lawmaker for extending to them an uncommon hand of fellowship and for fulfilling his pledge within a record time.
Alhaji Rauf Adeboye, Baale of Debonre, Oyesiku Community, assured the delegation of Hon Ladi led by Senior Legislative Aide, Hon Seye Sonuga, of the support of the communities in 2019.
In a related development, Paramount FM radio statio took possession of 5 LG air conditioners given to them by the Odogbolu born politician. Alhaji Adeniyi Adekunle, General Manager, received the facilities on behalf of the station. In his remarks, Adeniyi thanked the Otunba Nowoola of Odogbolu for the gesture adding that the fulfillment of the pledge with quick dispatch had shown that Hon Ladi was a man of his words.
In his speech, Hon Seye Sonuga enjoined the beneficiaries to ensure they obtain voters cards describing it as the constitutionally backed instrument needed to effect a change of bad government and install a government with human face.
He described Hon Adebutu as a man whose heart is filled with compassion and love for humanity. He added that Hon Ladi was a welfarist per excellence who disliked people undergoing hardship. Speaking further, Sonuga stated that the billionaire farmer’s record of fulfilling promises was exempliary. He charged the beneficiaries to ensure religious protection of the transformers.
The representatives of the 5 communties included Alhaji Rauf Adeboye, Baale of Debonre, Oyesiku Community, Chief Gabriel Akinlasoye, Baale of Eleja/Alagbayun Community, Alhaji Yusuf Kazeem, Secretary, Alaafia/Kobape CDA, Alhaji Nurudeen Fatoyinbo, Chairman, Ayegbami CDA and Mr Awobare Ogundimu, Chairman, Surulere CDA.
