The Ekiti State Hospitals Management Board has initiated the process of recruiting medical doctors to fill existing vacancies in the state health institutions.
This decision follows the approval granted by Governor Biodun Oyebanji to the board to fill the vacant positions in the Ekiti State general and specialist hospitals.
In a statement from the office of the Permanent Secretary, Ekiti State Hospitals’ Management Board in Ado-Ekiti, interested applicants are required to possess relevant medical certificates such as MBBS, a recent practising licence, a certificate of full registration, and a discharge certificate or exemption letter from the National Youths Service Corps (NYSC).

The statement further advised applicants with the necessary qualifications to obtain their application forms at the Ekiti State Hospitals’ Management Board, located in the Similoluwa area of Ado Ekiti, between Monday, March 25, and Friday, April 5, 2024.
It is worth noting that Governor Biodun Oyebanji had previously increased the salaries of all health workers in the state by implementing the Consolidated Medical Salary Scale (CONMESS) and the Consolidated Health Salary Scale (CONHESS).
Additionally, a 100 per cent hazard allowance was introduced for medical doctors and other health workers in the state, making their salaries competitive and comparable with those of their counterparts in federal health establishments.
