Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp has said Fabinho’s injury in the 1-1 UCL draw vs Napoli yesternight is a massive one.
The ex Monaco lasted only twenty minutes on the pitch as he was forced from the pitch with a clear ankle injury after a heavy tackle.
The Brazilian who was already suspended for Liverpool’s weekend clash vs Brighton in the EPL might now be out for more weeks as Klopp has said early signs are bad for the player.
His words, “The biggest thing is the Fabinho injury, that’s massive,”
“It’s early and we all hope it’s not too serious but it’s pretty painful and in an area you don’t want to have pain, around the ankle.”
On receiving a yellow card during the game, Klopp said, “‘Don’t do that’, that’s what I said, because they made a big fuss of the situation,”
“We all said there’s an opportunity for both teams to have a quick restart and he had things to say. So I said ‘Why do you do that, please don’t do that’.”
