Manchester City striker, Erling Haaland has come out to say that he is inspired by Karim Benzema. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, the Frenchman is 34 now, but he still manages to be a better player every year for Real Madrid as he grows older.
Haaland added that he will keep doing everything to keep his fame as a footballer in check because it cannot be allowed to change who he is.
His words, “Look at Karim Benzema at Real Madrid. He’s 34 now, and suddenly he’s developed into an even better player over the last couple of years – that’s insanely good. I take all the fame stuff in my stride. If I ever changed, I have enough people, not just my dad, to tell me.”
