The Governor of Ekiti state, Ayo Fayose has revealed why he came out to show support for the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu.
Fayose was seen in court standing with Kanu on Tuesday, April 25, 2017, shortly before his bail hearing.
The Governor said Nnamdi Kanu has been treated unjustly by the Nigerian government.
According to Naij, Fayose said “This nation belongs to all of us, I have come to identify with the Igbo people. My position remains that Kanu will one day walk into freedom in this our great country.”
The IPOB leader was released from Kuje Prison on Friday, April 28, 2017.
Meanwhile, Uchechi Kanu, Nnamdi Kanu’s wife has said that her husband will never abandon the Biafra struggle.
