He described the employments offered the three indigenes as just the tip of the iceberg compared to what his administration has in stock for Ekiti teeming unemployed youths as more qualified Ekiti youths will be employed into the federal service while many more would be employed into the state civil service to reduce joblessness among the youths.

The governor congratulated the beneficiaries and urged them to be good ambassadors of the state wherever they are posted to.
The beneficiaries in their separate response expressed their happiness at the opportunity, describing the offer of appointment as a big surprise and a rare opportunity.

Meanwhile, Ekiti workers have been urged to be ready to work diligently and justify the salary they draw monthly from the government coffers or leave the government service on their own volition as the new administration is not going to condone redundancy or retain anyone who is not making meaningful contribution to the development of the state.
The Governor of the state, Dr. Ayodele Fayose made the comment at a meeting held with the temporary staff and some artisans in the service of the State government at Jibowu Hall, Government House, Ado-Ekiti.
According to Fayose, “My government is not going to lay off any worker, either temporary or permanent, but every worker of whatever category should be alive to his responsibilities and work diligently to justify his/her pays as this government needs every kobo it earns for Ekiti development and not to pay any unproductive staff”.
Stating his displeasure at the untidy environment and unkempt condition of some quarters in the Government House, the governor said it is not acceptable to him and called on the directors and Heads of Departments to closely supervise the workers and provide the temporary staff and artisans with necessary working tools.
The governor who said he wanted to see positive developments in workers response to their duties and a more sanitized and clean environment in and around the Government House affirmed that the HODs and supervising officers will henceforth be held responsible for any lapses.
