    Femi Gbajabiamila Set To Contest For Speaker Of The House Of Representatives

    Hon Femi GbajabiamilaMajority leader of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila is set to officially declare his interest in contesting for the speakership of the 9th assembly on Sunday, March 31, 2019.

    As per the Lawmaker’s office, the event will happen at the Lagos/Osun Hall of Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja, and it’ll start by 2 pm.

    This is the fifth time Gbajabiamila, who represents Surulere II federal constituency will be going back to the house.

    Abdulmumin Jibrin has also been announced as the director general of the campaign.

    APC will most likely reveal the zoning for the House of Representatives on Tuesday, April 2, 2019.

    Four years back, both Gbajabiamila and Lawan represented the APC for the Speaker of the House of Representatives and Senate President positions respectively but Yakubu Dogara and Senator Bukola Saraki eventually clinched the two posts.
