    FG Re-appoints Ahmad DG Boundary Commission

    SURVEYOR-GENERAL OF THE FEDERATION, PROF. PETER NWILO (L), DIRECTOR-GENERAL, NATIONAL BOUNDARY COMMISSION, DR. MUHAMMAD AHMAD (M) AND LAGOS DEPUTY GOVERNOR, ADEJOKE ORELOPE-ADEFULIRE, DURING A JOINT MEETING

    SURVEYOR-GENERAL OF THE FEDERATION, PROF. PETER NWILO (L), DIRECTOR-GENERAL, NATIONAL BOUNDARY COMMISSION, DR. MUHAMMAD AHMAD (M) AND LAGOS DEPUTY GOVERNOR, ADEJOKE ORELOPE-ADEFULIRE, DURING A JOINT MEETING ON LAGOS/OGUN INTERSTATE BOUNDARY

    The Federal Government, has approved the re-appointment of Dr Muhammad Ahmad as the Director-General, National Boundary Commission.

    This is contained in a statement issued by Mr Kabir Isah, Public Relations Officer of the commission and made available to the News Agency of Nigeria on Friday.

    The statement said the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Sen. Anyim Pius Anyim, conveyed the re-appointment in a letter referenced SGF.50/S.11/III dated April 14, 2015.

    It said that the reappointment, which was for a second tenure of four years, was made in accordance with the provision of section 16 (1) and (3) of the commission`s establishment Act 2006.

    It said that Ahmad had been the DG of the commission since March 4, 2011.
