The Nigerian government has formed a committee to tackle the problems that resulted in a suspension of US immigrant visas to its citizens, Buhari’s office has said.
Nigeria is among the 6 nations that were included in the US visa ban by President Donald Trump recently.
According to American officials, the selected countries simply did not meet US security and information-sharing standards, which prompted the new restrictions.
Reacting, FG revealed that it remains committed to fostering a good relationship with the US on matters of security.
A brief statement read, “Nigeria remains committed to maintaining productive relations with the United States and other international allies especially on matters of global security.”
