    FG to partner States for sustainable road sector development: Onolememen

    mike onolememen2(Report from Federal Works Ministry)- Federal Government has renewed determination to collaborate and partner State Governments on road development.
    Minister of Works, Arc. Mike Onolememen disclosed this when the Governor of Bauchi State, Mallam Isa Yuguda paid him a courtesy call in his Mabushi office.

    Onolememen called for a strong collaboration from States in order to realize the Vision 20:2020 and to improve on road infrastructure in order to boost the economy by making Nigerian roads in a good condition.

    Earlier, the Executive Governor of Bauchi State, Mallam Isa Yuguda stated that he specially visited the Minister to show appreciation for the quick response in the issue of the Bauchi Southern bye-pass which when completed will reduce the traffic snarl in Bauchi city, and improve the living standard of the people of the State.   He also demanded for the reconstruction of Bauchi-Gombe road which was constructed since 1976 and now needs rehabilitation and reconstruction just as he demanded the rehabilitation of Gombe-Fuskar mata road.
