    Godwin Obaseki Seeks Assembly Approval To Present 2017 Appropriation Bill

    Godwin Obaseki1Gov. Godwin Obaseki of Edo has requested for the approval of the state House of Assembly to present the 2017 Appropriation Bill on Friday.

    The governor’s request is contained in a letter dated Dec. 14 and signed by the Secretary to State Government, Mr Osarodion Ogie.

    The letter reads: “I write to inform the House that Gov. Godwin Obaseki proposes to present the year 2017 appropriation bill on Friday, Dec. 16, 2016.”

    The Speaker, Justin Oknonboh, said the House would meet to consider the request.
