Nigeria’s U-17 National Team will play a friendly match against their counterparts from Argentina in Buenos Aires on Tuesday as preparations for this year’s Fifa U-17 World Cup gears up.
The Golden Eaglets, who arrived in Buenos Aires for a pre-World Cup training camp on Friday, have held training sessions at the Buenos Aires Futbol ground (BAF).
They will also play the U-20 side of either Racing FC or Boca Juniors before leaving Buenos Aires for Santiago de Chile.
Head coach of the cadet team, Emmanuel Amuneke, has expressed satisfaction about the standard of BAF, which has about seven training pitches with state of the art gymnasium, swimming pool and other separate camping facilities.
Nine players from the crop that finished fourth at the last Africa U-17 Nations Cup in Niger were listed in coach Amuneke’s 25-man squad for the 2015 World Cup.
