The Gombe State Police Command on Thursday paraded a two-man robbery gang that specializes in stealing of vehicles and 41 others, who specialize in breaking into peoples’ houses and vandalizing PHCN property.
Parading the suspects before newsmen, the state police spokesman, Fwaje Atajiri, said the suspects recently stole a car, changed its plate number and were about to move it to Adamawa State when they were apprehended.
Atajiri, a Deputy Superintendent of Police, said the command has intensified patrol, just as other measures have been put in place to keep Gombe safe.
“We are advising members of the general public to always report suspicious movement of persons and goods to the police so that we can act immediately”, he said.
