Gov. Sule Lamido of Jigawa has enjoined voters in the state to shun violence in the ongoing local government polls in the state.

Lamido gave the advice in an interview with newsmen after casting his vote in his hometown in Bamaina village of Birninkudu local government on Saturday.

He appealed to the people to live peacefully with one another and avoid anything that could cause problem amongst them.

The governor also advised them to be their brothers’ keepers and remain united in all their undertakings.
