The Governor of Zamfara State, Dauda Lawal, has appointed Rabi Bashir as the tribunal’s chairman, and Musa Labbo as its secretary.
Governor Dauda urged the members of the tribunal to uphold the state’s constitution with integrity and impartiality, saying that they were handpicked from among their peers with the expectation that they would do a good job.
In a speech to the tribunal, Governor Lawal emphasized the importance of recouping all funds owed to the state for long-term, tangible development.
He promised the members of the tribunal that the state government would provide them with all the resources and assistance they would need to complete their mission.
Attorney Rabi Bashir, who will preside over the tribunal, expressed her commitment to doing her best in her acceptance address.
She urged all natives to assist the tribunal in the name of the state.
