The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Zamfara State has spoken out against the leaking of an audio recording of bribery that has been making the rounds online.
Yusuf Idris Gusau, publicity secretary for the APC in the state, made this announcement in a press release.
In the statement, he stated, “Anas Sani Anka is not a card holding member nor a good supporter of the APC in any form.

He is not a party officer and has never served in a political position for the APC administration, thus his comments cannot be attributed to the party.
Since the present trajectory of the Tribunal processes suggests that the APC is very likely to restore its mandate, we are certain that the PDP is going to great lengths to destroy them.
Anas claimed to have received money from a senator named Abdul Aziz Yari, however Yari has been absent from the nation for some years.
As one Nigerian judge put it, “PDP must know that the Nigerian judiciary cannot be intimidated with the frivolous unguarded allegations advanced by the PDP through Anas, because we already know their gimmick and it will fall.”
In a statement, Yusuf Idris Gusau called for the security forces “to uncover all those behind this cowardly act, including the person that made the recording.”
“Let the PDP know that the Judiciary is an independent body, and that no amount of intimidation or abuse will deter it from doing justice for all citizens of Nigeria, regardless of their religion or political affiliation,” said the president of the Nigerian Bar Association.
“We are calling on our supporters in the state to remain calm as we are confident in the Nigeria judiciary and justice will be done to us,” he said.
