Chris Brown has responded to the ongoing beef between Drake and Pusha T.
Yesterday (30th May), DJ Akademics posted a screenshot of the controversial cover art for Pusha’s diss track ‘The Story Of Adidon’, which featured Drake appearing in ‘blackface’.
In response, the ‘Questions’ singer took to the comments section to wade in on the explosive feud. “Hip hop is back,” he wrote, adding “Where’s the popcorn.”
On his new album ‘DAYTONA’, Pusha T accused Drake of using a ghostwriter – which is an ongoing rumour – by alluding to Quentin Miller’s influence on his new song ‘Infrared’.
Last week, Drake unleashed his ‘Duppy Freestyle’ which took aim at Pusha T and Kanye West before publicly sending them both an invoice “promotional assistance and career reviving.”
Pusha T retaliated with a savage diss track of his own in the form of ‘The Story Of Adidon’, in which he accused Drake of hiding a secret child as well as taking shots at his producer, who suffers from multiple sclerosis.
As onlookers anticipate Drizzy’s next reply, the ‘More Life’ rapper took to Instagram to clarify the ‘blackface’ accusations, claiming that the images, taken in 2007, were shot to “highlight and raise our frustrations with not always getting a fair chance in the industry.”
