Members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ward 8, Ilishan Remo, Ogun State, have been enjoined to promote the interest of the party and do all they could to ensure the party came out victorious in 2019.
This admonition was given by Hon (Dr) Ladi Adebutu, Chairman, House Committee on Rural Development, on July 5, 2017, at the opening ceremony of the new Ward 8 secretariat, along Market Road, Ilishan.
Commenting further, the federal lawmaker particularly told the decampees from Omo Ilu Foundation not to be bothered with the intimidation and harassment from irrelevant few who were mere paperweight saying “minority cannot override majority.” Adebutu called their attention to the constitutionally backed right of association. He assured them of his utmost concern for the welfare of Ogun people and development of the rural communities.

A major part of the program was the formal reception of several decampees from All Progressive Congress (APC) led by Mr Taye Kasali and Omo Ilu Foundation led by Hon Wunmi Hassan
Hon Ladi maintains an open door policy where all people of common interest access freely.
