Eden Hazard has said he still dreams of playing for Real Madrid despite Zinedine Zidane having left his position as coach but added that “for the moment nobody has made me an offer.”
Despite Zidane having been replaced by Julen Lopetegui, Hazard told beIN SPORTS his thinking had not really changed.
“Does Real make me dream less without Zidane? Zidane is someone special, it’s true, but I think Real is everyone’s dream,” he said.
“Zidane or no Zidane, the white jersey is special but the blue jersey [of Chelsea] suits me well so it does not bother me if I stay.
“For now, it’s the World Cup. As I have said at least 100 times, I am at Chelsea and for the moment nobody has made me an offer.”
Chelsea finished fifth in the Premier League, winning the FA Cup, but the summer has seen turmoil at Stamford Bridge amid continuing speculation that coach Antonio Conte will be replaced by Maurizio Sarri.
