Popular singer Usher has said that he still has a massive amount of respect for Diddy. He recently had his say during an interview with Forbes’ The Enterprise Zone, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, he’ll always put some respect on Diddy‘s name because he just cannot ignore the immense impact his life has had on black entrepreneurs.
Usher added that several people benefited from what Sean Combs created, and that will always be his legacy.
His words, “In many ways, I think certain people are prosecuted and maybe not recognized for the greatness that they offer. I don’t have anything negative to say about Sean Combs because my experience was not what the world has seen and how he’s been misrepresented.
I can’t, with any sense of humanity, not recognize the valuable contributions that this man made for us as Black entrepreneurs, for us as businessmen, for us as people who transition culture and ideas into something that’s tangible and becomes business. So many people benefited from what he created. And I acknowledge that. And that’s why I see him as legacy.
I put respect on his name because I realized that what I learned as a businessman before I even understood what business was came as a result of seeing the incredible things that he was able to do and the way that he positioned himself as a businessman.”

Sean Love Combs (born Sean John Combs; November 4, 1969), also known by his stage names Puff Daddy, P. Diddy, or Diddy, is an American rapper, singer, record producer, record executive and actor.
Born in Harlem, Combs worked as a talent director at Uptown Records before founding his own record label, Bad Boy Records, in 1993. Combs has produced and cultivated artists such as the Notorious B.I.G., Mary J. Blige, and Usher.
Sean John Combs was born in the Harlem neighborhood of New York City on November 4, 1969. Raised in Mount Vernon, New York, his mother Janice Combs (née Smalls) was a model and teacher’s assistant, and his father, Melvin Earl Combs, served in the U.S. Air Force and was an associate of convicted New York drug dealer Frank Lucas.
At age 33, Melvin was shot dead while sitting in his car on Central Park West, when Sean was two years old.
