With the latest attack on Nigerians in South Africa, President Muhammadu Buhari has come out to say that he has sent a special envoy to President Ramaphosa, to remind him of his international obligation of protecting the lives and properties of foreigners in South Africa.
Sharing this through the official tweeter handle of the Presidency ‘@NGRPresident’, PMB told the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama to reach out to the South African High Commissioner to come to Nigeria.
The tweet read, “FURTHER UPDATES:
1/ Minister of Foreign Affairs @GeoffreyOnyeama has summoned the SA High Commissioner to Nigeria.
2/ Next month President Buhari will Visit South Africa and meet with Pres @CyrilRamaphosa. Top on Agenda will be guaranteeing safety of ALL Nigerians in SA.”
