The leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has debunked news making the rounds that he released prophecies concerning the Ekiti State governorship election in 2022.
Primate Ayodele said he is yet to issue any statement or prophecy concerning who replaces Governor Kayode Fayemi in Ekiti State.
In a statement signed by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, on Wednesday, the popular prophet made it known that some political groups have been circulating statements credited to him about governorship aspirants in the state.
He warned that they should desist from twisting his prophecies by making it a tool for political propaganda.
Primate Ayodele categorically stated that any statement that doesn’t have the signature of Osho should be considered false.
He said: ‘’It has been brought to my attention that some political group in Ekiti state have been circulating a statement credited to me that some aspirants will not become governor in the state.
“I wish to state that I have not made any statement concerning the election yet and every statement credited to me in the media regarding the election is false.
“It is important to make this clarification because political groups have been using this false statement as propaganda against each other in the state. I want to warn everyone in this act to stop twisting my prophecies, misquoting my prophecies and lying against my prophetic ministry.
“From henceforth, any statement in the media that wasn’t signed by my media aide, Osho Oluwatosin should be considered as false.
“I will prophecy on the coming election in Ekiti as at when due but at the moment, I am yet to make any statement or give prophecies concerning the election.’’
