YBNL singer, Adekunle Gold, has spoken out against the baby mama trend plaguing celebrities in the entertainment industry.
Adekunle Gold made his opinion known while speaking to reporters in Lagos, The Herald reports.
The singer said that he is not one of the male celebrities that wishes to patronise the baby mama trend, stating his admiration for marriage.
He said, “Baby mama? I don’t want it and I don’t like the idea.”
“The idea of Baby Mama depends on who are involved. I’m sure that those involved now were not disposed to the idea at some point.”
“I don’t like it and I speak for myself only. Yes, not everyone wants to get married. Sometimes you think about marriage and what have been happening around couples and you get scared.”
Adekunle Gold has been rumoured to be planning his exit from his current record label, YBNL, soon as he releases his album in June 2016.
He intends to start his own record label like rapper, Lil Kesh, who recently left YBNL.
