Withstanding all the controversy surrounding Ibinabon as President of the AGN (Actors Guild of Nigeria), she intends to remain President.
Victor Osuagwu also announced that President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has given the association a piece of land which they had requested from him.
Ibinabo revealed that she and her team requested for land from GEJ when they paid him a courtesy visit earlier in the year, and to show his support for the creative industry, he gave it to them.
“When I wanted to be president, they said I am a woman but dem no know say na woman sabi make things work pass.” She said to everyone in attendance.
Ibinabo further stated, “I chased this land like a lunatic because I didn’t want to hear that the certificate of ownership did not come when I was president. So today I am so happy to present this certificate to the board of trustees.“
At the event, she also showed the certificate of ownership of the land.
While speaking to reporters, Ibinabo said she has finally given in to the calls of the congress and members nationwide to run for second term as president.
