Cristian Romero has vowed to put 200% into Tottenham’s seven remaining finals in order to avoid a seismic Premier League exit. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, now is the time for the players and supporters to be on the same page because the upcoming fixtures will decide Spurs‘ future.
The defender added that unity and togetherness will help Tottenham avoid relegation this season.
His words, “It’s a difficult day for everyone, but the first thing is to speak about the fans. Thank you for today and always staying with us.
They gave us fantastic support, but about us, it’s a bad day. Now it is finished and the most important thing is to understand the situation.
It’s not easy but the most important thing is to get to national team and back here for the last seven finals.
I promise [to] put 200 per cent in every one and for me it is not easy, but we have to stay all together. It’s a bad day yeah, but we will go again.”
