Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, has vowed to give former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and other opposition politicians a difficult time ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Wike said he would ensure that Atiku and members of the opposition remain under pressure as political activities intensify ahead of the election.
The former Rivers State governor made the statement while addressing his supporters, insisting that the opposition would face a difficult political battle in 2027.
“I’ll give Atiku and the opposition high BP and make them suffer crisis,” Wike said.
He maintained that he was not afraid of the opposition and would continue to play an active role in the political developments leading to the 2027 elections.
Wike’s comments come amid ongoing political realignments and growing tensions among opposition politicians as parties and political groups prepare for the next general election.
