Ekiti State governor, Kayode Fayemi has tested positive for COVID-19.
The popular politician revealed this via his official twitter handle @kfayemi hours ago.
According to him, he found out his status after taking his 3rd Covid-19 test amid the coronavirus pandemic.
He added that he has already delegated critical tasks to his deputy but he would continue routine duty from home.
His words, “I took my third Covid-19 test yesterday and it came back positive.
“I’m generally ok and I’m already self- isolating at home and receiving the best of care from my medical team.
“I’m delegating critical tasks to my Deputy but will continue routine duty from home. JKF”
