MCLEAN, VA–(Marketwired – November 05, 2014) – immixGroup, Inc. announced today the launch of a new Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) application, the immixGroup Criminal Investigative Tracking Tool
(iCrITT®), which aids law enforcement officials in combating online child exploitation, fraud, and organized crime. Under the terms of a new three-year contract, a state police agency will utilize this secure, cloud-based software solution to enhance its data management and coordination efforts in investigating, tracking, and prosecuting online criminals through improved case management and collaboration.
The iCrITT solution empowers federal, state, local, and international law enforcement and intelligence-related organizations of all sizes and jurisdictions through improved deconfliction, data management, cooperation, and analysis. It enables investigators to share information on open cases and work together to provide a coordinated approach to preventing, detecting, and solving online criminal activity by:
- Fully leveraging criminal evidence collection efforts across law enforcement agencies
- Increasing caseload efficiency in an era of decreased funding
- Reducing duplication of efforts
- Utilizing Hash Cloud™ service to improve collaboration and coordination capabilities
immixGroup developed the patent-pending SaaS application as an integrated solution with NetClean’s Analyze Collaboration Server, which improves efficiency and adds intelligence to digital media investigations through its ability to analyze and deconflict image and media files.
“Agencies pursuing Web-savvy offenders often struggle with managing enormous amounts of data they gather on a daily basis,” said Joe Maline, immixGroup’s Chief Technology Officer. “iCrITT offers an enhanced ability to quickly connect information within their organization and across different agencies, collaborate on specific investigations, and continuously ‘deconflict’ their cases. It enables a coordinated approach to detecting, preventing, and solving Internet-based crimes, all without divulging sensitive investigative information.”
“We are excited to have the opportunity to bring our cloud-based software to the law enforcement community and broker the relationship between a major state police organization and NetClean,” said “Art Richer, CEO and president of immixGroup. “We anticipate great demand for SaaS applications like iCrITT among our government customers at the federal, state, and local levels.”
