Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp has come out to share that he had a nice conversation with Brentford striker, Ivan Toney after his club beat his team 4-1 on Saturday. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, Toney is a very tricky player who will always be a menance for any defence in the EPL, so he expected him to be tricky against the Reds.
Klopp added that Toney is a Liverpool fan, and he wished me well after his decision to quit the club at the end of the season.
His words, “It was more like smiling at him, he’s a handful and really tricky – I used a different word but it’s really tricky to play against him obviously.”
Am I right that he’s a Liverpool supporter? He’s not shy to say that?”
Then I can admit it as well. We spoke a little bit about that and he wished me good luck for my time after these things here. A lot of players said it. It was a nice conversation. I had one with [Vitaly] Janelt as well.”

Left with an empty ground, Houlding founded Liverpool in 1892 and the club has played at Anfield ever since. The capacity of the stadium at the time was 20,000, although only 100 spectators attended Liverpool’s first match at Anfield.
