Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta has come out to say that the club is open to making a big move in the January transfer window. He recently revealed this while speaking with the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, if Arsenal owners are interested in evolving the current squad, maximizing every transfer window is necessary.
Arteta added that if the right player becomes available this month, the Gunners will definitely try to bring him in.
His words, “I think with the amount of things and the way that we want to evolve the squad we have to maximise every window in many different ways and we are alert.”
“Edu and his team are working very hard as we know exactly what we need to do.”
“Whether we can accomplish that in January or in the summer is a different question as it is related to other stuff.”
“Again if it is the right player and we can afford it and we can do what we want to do we will discuss it and make the best possible decision.”
“We are open.”
