Former France coach Jacques Santini and former Gabon and Niger boss Gernot Rohr also joined the race.

‘Yes,I was approached by the FBF for the vacant position but I have not decided yet on the right direction to take,”said Keshi via a telephone conversation.
.
Meanwhile Complete Sports has scooped that Keshi has been offered a two-year deal by the Nigeria Football Federation with a reduced salary. He earned N5m a month in his previous contract but the NFF,according to our impeccable source in Abuja caanot afford to pay the big boss the same amount because of its dwindling fortunes due to the unfavourable economic climate plauging the country ocassioned by the austerity measures introduced by the Federal Government following the drop in the price of crude oil in the international market.
