keylor navasKeylor Navas could miss Saturday’s game at Getafe after suffering a strain in his right leg while away on international duty, the club have confirmed. Navas could also be out for Tuesday’s Champions League match at home to Tottenham.

Costa Rica international Navas suffered the injury during the draw with Honduras on Saturday that clinched their place at the World Cup.

He was allowed to leave the squad ahead of Tuesday’s game against Panama, and Costa Rica doctor Alejandro Ramirez told his federation’s official website: “After the game against Honduras, Keylor felt an issue in his right leg.

Real confirmed the injury after an assessment of their own on Wednesday in a statement that read: “After the tests carried out this afternoon on our player, Keylor Navas, at the Sanitas La Moraleja University Hospital, he has been diagnosed with a swollen adductor muscle in his right groin. His recovery will continue to be assessed.”
