A socio-political organisation under the aegis of Kwara South Youth Consultative Forum, KSYCF, has thrown its weight behind the second term ambition of Kwara State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed.
Chairman of the forum, Ambassador Kazeem Adekanye, in company of other members, said their endorsement was informed by the governor’s performance in the last three and half years calling on people in the state, irrespective of political, religious and ethnic affiliation, to support the return of Mr. Ahmed as governor come 2015.
The group also pleaded with Senator Bukola Saraki, the All Progressives Congress, APC, and all other stakeholders in the state to allow Ahmed fly APC’s governorship flag in the 2015 elections in order to make the vision of continued “shared prosperity” a reality and to garner massive votes for the party in coming elections.
Adekanye explained that the KSYCF’s agitation was not based on marginalization of the senatorial district or ethnic consideration, adding that it was to support continuity of good deeds of the present administration in the state.
“We are drumming support for Governor Ahmed’s second term for him to continue and complete the good work he has already started in various facets of human development; health, education, infrastructure, water, youth employment/empowerment, agriculture, energy etc”, he said.
The group also called on people in the state to continue in their support for APC and the party leader, Senator Saraki, towards taking the state to greater heights.
