Lautaro Martinez has to learn to control his temper, according to Inter Milan assistant manager, Cristian Stellini after the player’s reaction that led to a red card in a feisty 1-1 draw vs Cagliari.
Lautaro scored for his team in the game but was later red-carded for dissent as Inter Milan were held to a 3rd successive Serie A draw.
Club manager, Conte kept mute by assistant manager, Stellini revealed that the player went too far.
He added that Laurato needs to be more careful in future games.
His words, “It was excessive. He has to be careful,”
“It is important to us that he is available for games.
“He has to learn from what happened so it doesn’t happen again.”
On the game, Conte said, “The draw certainly wasn’t down to the referee – we only complained because he didn’t blow for fouls on our forwards, but always did for theirs,” he told reporters.
“But we don’t want to point fingers at anyone but ourselves. We lacked clarity and should have killed the game off earlier because we had plenty of chances to make it 2-0.”
