That’s it! That right there is what we expect from Leicester City. We do not expect them to retain their title. We do not expect them to retain European football. But we do expect them to play with the same intensity that served them so well last season. We do expect them to run for each other, to cover each other, to make chances for each other. More than that, we expect them to ensure that 2016, this most wretched of years, doesn’t end with the sacking of everyone’s favourite grandfather figure. The team’s 4-2 result against, surely, has banished talk of Claudio Ranieri’s demise.
